Ingredients
- 1 large Onion
- 1 tablespoon. Coriander (ground)
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
- ½ teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika or red pepper
- ½ teaspoon Turmericto taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Yogurt
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil or margarine
- 1 lb. Lamb cubes (with or without bones) (from leg or veal chops shank)
- 2 medium PotatoesOptional
- 2 cloves,
- 1 whole cardamon
- 1 whole bay leaf
Method
Chop onion. Heat till onions are brown in oil or margarine. Add meat, spices, and yogurt and cook until brown for 2 or 3 minutes. Add 3 to 4 cups water, lower heat and cook till meat is almost tender. Add cubed potatoes and cook till done on medium heat. Serve over rice
