Candy Bar Cake

Ingredients

For the Cake

  • 1 1/2 cup sifted plain flour
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • I tsp baking soda
  • A pinch of salt
  • I/3 cup cocoa and oil
  • I cup cold water
  • I tsp canilla essence
  • sugar syrup for soaking
For the frosting
  • 1/2 cup each cream cheese and whipping cream
  • I /4 cup powdered sugar
  • 100g copped candy bar
For the garnish
  • 1 chocolate bar chopped whipped cream

Method

To prepare the cake

sieve all the dry ingredients together. Set aside. Mix together the oil, vanilla essence and cold water. Place the dry ingredients in bowl and add the liquid ingredients and mix with an electric beater on lowest speed till all the ingredients are well blended. Pour onto a round tin and bake in a hot oven at 350 F for 30-35 minutes.
To prepare the frosting

In a medium sized bowl, beat the cream cheese and powedered sugar until light. Set aside. In another bowl, whip the cream until soft peak are formed. Fold the cream and candy bar pieces into cream cheese mixture.
